have my workday done, all my power's gone

beside the road of disagree
we walked the fields invisibly
within our burning hearts impatience slowly starts
horizons hardly visible behind the tv screen
can easily be seen much more things than their truth

Cromwell was founded in 1994 leading to a demotape called "nor king nor country", recorded in a small studio in
town.
Our music is influenced by (progressive) rock bands such as IQ, Saga and many others.
The Band never had the idea of being a professional band but pure hobbyists, having fun with creating their own music.

Fantasy progressive rock is not something I'd ever thought of. Yet Foreign Land, especially the Foreign Land track itself, transported me straight into an unknown, magical fantasy world.

As with previous releases this is a solid album from start to finish which continues the storyline, themes and signatures perfectly. 'Enigma' and 'Another Same' are on par with or superior to many commercial offerings by established prog artists. The Waters, Wilson and Hayward influences shine through once more but I also hear song writing very much in the style of Difford and Tilbrook, 'Trough of War' & 'Another Same' probably being the best examples. These chaps are the real deal!

A lovely nugget of bread and butter prog, very much down the line of classic arena rock such as Kansas, Yes and Asia. Meaty guitars, glistening keys and triumphant melodies abound. The songs are pretty well written. It's bombastic but not too showy or overly technical.
